Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this solar WiFi camera for?
A: It is an option for adults monitoring outdoor home areas with a compatible 2.4GHz WiFi network and a suitable solar-panel location. It is not the cellular model and does not use a cellular data plan.
Q: Will it cover every blind spot or record continuously?
A: Complete coverage and continuous recording are not established. Aim the lenses according to the manual and test motion alerts and views after installation. Recording behavior, distance and runtime specifications are not provided here.
Q: Is it a practical housewarming or holiday gift?
A: It can suit someone interested in connected home monitoring. Confirm their 2.4GHz network coverage, app compatibility and mounting location before purchase.
Q: How do I connect it to WiFi?
A: The original instructions say to turn the camera switch ON and hold the reset button for 7-8 seconds before connecting through the app. Select a network confirmed to use 2.4GHz; an SSID name alone does not establish its frequency. Follow the supplied manual for mounting and solar-panel positioning.
Q: Is an SD card included, and are there subscription fees?
A: An SD card is explicitly not included. The description lists basic tracking and alerts without extra fees, while cloud storage and advanced AI classification are optional paid services. Check current app terms, supported card specifications and package contents before setup.
Q: Is this a STEM kit?
A: No curriculum or experiment materials are listed. It is a connected monitoring device, not a children's STEM kit. Solar power and wireless networking may inspire discussion, but no educational kit features are established.
